The Adventure

3 days of conviviality, small scenic routes and rolling paths amidst vineyards, castles, rivers, and other fortresses, in Touraine.

Event open to trail bikes, maxi-trails, electric bikes, and sidecars (select the "offroad motorcycle" profile when registering), as well as road bikes (select the "road motorcycle" profile when registering).

All-road registration and 2-day (Saturday/Sunday) options are also available!





For what types of motorcycles?

Renowned for being the most accessible and accessible off-road event, La Royale is open to all types of trails and maxi-trails and all levels. Whether you're new to off-roading or experienced, the friendly atmosphere of this event is sure to leave you with unforgettable memories.
Motorcycles, which comply with regulations and are as quiet as possible, must be equipped with suitable tires. For offroad, equipment such as a skid plate, crash bars and hand guards are recommended.
Sidecars, "old guns" and electric motorcycles are also welcome, as for duos it is entirely possible with a minimum of offroad experience for both protagonists.
The ROAD registration allows you to come and ride with any type of motorcycle and benefit from Cocoricorando's know-how.



The Royale 2026 is a cloverleaf, meaning you stay in the same location all weekend and can settle in comfortably, whether you're in a tent, van, or campervan, keeping your vehicles and trailers close by. Breakfasts and dinners are served under the organizers' marquees and provided by our catering partner Chris&Co. Drinks are not included, except for water. A refreshment bar at attractive prices is available.
The Cocoricorando staff is present and available all weekend to welcome and pamper you.



Practical Information

Lunches are not included; everyone can choose according to their own preferences and progress on the trails. Suggestions for local dining options are included in the booklet given to you at the start of the event. At the same time, a picnic basket option is available upon registration.
You can, of course, recharge your small electrical devices at the bivouac.







We strongly recommend arriving on site to set up late Thursday afternoon. The event begins Friday morning with a welcome breakfast starting at 7:30 a.m., followed by a general briefing at 8:30 a.m. Each day, departures are given immediately after the morning briefing, regulated by the staff.
The friendly atmosphere and the quality of the meals make dinner an unforgettable moment to round off the day.



What does the course look like?

3 routes are offered for OFFROAD registration: the "Extreme" route requiring a little off-road experience; the "Adventure" route for discovery, which will take you along paths without technical difficulties; a "Repli" route 100% asphalt, reassuring, which allows a pleasant fallback solution in case of bad weather or fatigue. Registered on the road, we offer you each day a magnificent route that will take you between 250 and 300 km, as well as a less mileage alternative. You will ride on roads and paths open to traffic, registering for La Royale, which is in no way a competition, commits you to respect the Highway Code, the environment, local residents, as well as other users.



How do I follow the route?

Navigation is done independently using a GPS.
The Tripy electronic road-book reader GPS is ideally suited to this type of ride and is available for rental as an option upon registration.
You will receive the three routes one week before the big day (in standard GPX format and TRB for Tripy owners), which allows you to switch between them as you wish during the event; there are no restrictions.

- Confirm and then secure your place at the event by making full payment of your entry directly online by card, or within 10 days by check or bank transfer.

After registration:
you will receive 3 emails:
- registration validation after receipt of payment (automatic and almost immediate for online payment).
- a few weeks before the big day, the program and the first useful information, including meeting places and accommodation suggestions for non-campers.
- 7 days before the big day, the last useful information as well as the trace files.
