The Adventure
Come discover the landscapes of Haute-Loire!
3 days of intense relaxation on the roads or trails and paths of Auvergne in a Cocoricorando atmosphere.
Event open to trail bikes, maxi-trails, electric bikes, and sidecars (select the "offroad motorcycle" profile when registering), as well as road bikes (select the "road motorcycle" profile when registering).
100% road registration and 2-day (Saturday/Sunday) versions are also available!
For what types of motorcycles?
The Vercingétorix off-road motorcycle version is primarily designed for maxi-trails, meaning big, comfortable machines with large displacements. Trails are also perfectly suited. It's also possible with lighter, smaller-displacement or enduro-type motorcycles, provided, of course, that they remain in full compliance with the regulations (particularly regarding noise!). Vintage motorcycles, sidecars, and electric motorcycles are also welcome! The road bike version is open to all road bikes, whatever they may be, provided the rider is in tourist mode.

The Program
While the event starts on Friday morning, it is possible and even recommended to arrive on site to set up late Thursday afternoon.Every morning, breakfast is served starting at 7:30 a.m., followed by a briefing at 8:30 a.m. Departures are given immediately after the briefing and regulated by the staff to avoid a "herd" effect. If all goes well, you're in for a good day of riding and will be back by late afternoon.

What does the route look like?
For the off-road motorcycle version: you have the choice between 2 mixed routes (road/path): the "Adventure" route bypasses the biggest difficulties to stay on rolling and easy paths, accessible even for the first off-road rides, the "Extreme" route offers some additional sensations without being inaccessible. The 100% asphalt route is also available and can serve as a fallback solution in case of fatigue or bad weather. The road motorcycle registration offers you 100% asphalt tracks, ranging from the beautiful rolling winding road to the very small country road, and offers you a mileage of between 230 and 300 km per day.

The bivouac
The bivouac is set up for the 3 days. Whether you're in a tent, van, or campervan, you'll have plenty of space to settle in comfortably while keeping your vehicles and trailers close by.Breakfasts and dinners are served under the organization's marquees and provided by our catering partner Chris&Co. Drinks are not included, except for water; a refreshment bar is available.
The Cocoricorando staff is present and available all weekend to welcome and guide you. There's an electric stand where you can recharge your devices (GPS, smartphone), and our osteopath will help you get back on your feet if needed!

Practical Aspects
Lunches are not included; everyone can choose what they like and how far they've progressed along the routes. Suggestions for local refreshments will be included in the booklet you'll receive at the start of the event. A 3-pack picnic basket option is available upon registration. In the event of a (major) mechanical problem, the organizers can help you (interventions included in the registration fee, excluding supplies and consumables).
How do I follow the route?
On the paths as on the asphalt, navigation is done independently by GPS (or via your favorite smartphone app), the routes are not marked. One week before the big day you will receive GPX files (and TRB for Tripy owners) of all the proposed routes relating to your registration.
The Tripy II GPS, available for rental, offers great comfort and precision in reading the roadbook.
Registering for the Vercingétorix commits you to respecting the Highway Code, the route using roads open to traffic.
